Chapter Fifty-nine
All was silent except for the echo of a celestial songbird tweeting from another realm. The particles in Angeline’s field looked like tiny iridescent soap bubbles that reflected the light of a golden Buddha upon their surface. It was this golden Buddha that Angeline had seen in her vision at Cathedral Rock. It was the aura that surrounded the Earth, the essence of Mago, and it was the place where she belonged. The image of the golden Buddha was the thought mirrored in every particle within her sphere of influence—the entire surface of the globe.
An enormous vibration shook the ground and the Earth shuddered as its axis shifted back to its zero point. With every degree traveled, Angeline’s energy field got bigger and brighter until her blinding light turned to fire. Noah, Suna, Leuters and Toby stood at the center of these celestial flames of heaven, and Noah recalled the old biblical story of the burning bush. It was a fire that did not burn. Because they had been purified, the power of the flames flickered in glorious waves of ecstasy. They stood at the center of the sun and, for a moment, became the sun itself.
The shudder of the Earth’s axis shift stopped. The thundering soundless sound of the Earth’s rotation began again—a sound as comforting as a mother’s song to a baby. The holy flames that had engulfed them ascended into the sky, like a great golden phoenix of light that carried Angeline’s spirit on its wings.
For the second time today, Angeline’s four
partners-in-consciousness fell to their knees with reverent hearts. They watched as her soul, transformed into a golden phoenix of light, flew around Bell Rock three times, trailing golden particles behind her that twinkled like confetti.
They witnessed the process of her completion, as if watching the mind-screen of the cosmos. It was her spiritual birth—the transition from individual to one, from human to God, from something to nothing, yet everything at the same time. The sky opened as if a zipper had been pulled and the soul of Mago, the golden Buddha, all of the heavens, and every being who had made the same journey welcomed the spirit of this great human being, whose love for mankind was ultimate.
As her spirit evolved, her consciousness spread around the Earth, like honey. Time and space ceased to exist for an eternal moment. Her friends gazed into the sky where she had once been, and though they could no longer see her, they felt her essence wrap around all of humanity. The field surrounding the planet shone brighter with her added light. She had made it home, as all will, in their own time. She existed above thought and emotion in the place where the pure and eternal beingness of God stretches infinitely in all directions.
Tears of gratitude poured down Toby’s cheeks as he looked into the sky. Suna dropped her face into her trembling hands and cried tears of the ultimate love in her heart. Noah looked around with wonderment at the new Earth whose every particle gleamed in Technicolor. And Leuters touched his forehead to the ground and thanked the spirit of the Earth, Mother Mago, for all that she had done.
The voice of Mother Mago echoed through the sky.
“Chun-Hwa is the path to become one with the immortal soul of God. I exist here, and always, as death does not exist. The world is ready for the veils to be lifted. Black clouds no longer cover the sky. A new sun will shine upon the Earth. A shattered light returns in five vessels. This is the Tao of enlightenment, the Hong-Ik Human, and the message of BOS.
“Prepare for the return of Mago Castle.”
