In any renovation there comes a point where the energy and enthusiasm starts to wane. When my clients ran out of steam, they simply closed the door and left a shell of a bathroom to be completed when they felt re-invigorated. Fast forward a couple of years, and I was called on to design a crisp minimal bathroom with streamlined simplicity and modern details.
Typically tub fixtures are installed at the end of the bathtub opposite the slope for the backrest. But with a wide soaker tub, you may want to maintain the flexibility of using both ends of the tub, while also making it easier to control the flow of water without reaching across, so consider stacking your faucet and hand shower in a line on the front side of the bathtub and enjoy soaking in a nice hot bath from whatever end you choose.
