Siddhasana
This pose helps the child relax and find peace. It is recommended before meditation and mudra practice.
1. Sit with your legs extended in front of you
2. Using your hands, bring your right heel as close as possible to your pelvis.
3. Place your left foot on top of the right leg. Your two ankles need to be one on top of the other. Begin with either foot.
4. Keep your spine straight, the small of you back nicely arched. Relax your shoulders, neck, and jaw. Breathe calmly through your nose, concentrating on your breathing. Close your eyes.
5. Do the chin-mudra: place your hands on your thighs, join your index fingers and your thumbs on each hand, and keep the three other fingers extended.
