FIRE MUDRA |
Surya-mudra
This gesture restores physical strength, mobility, and vigilance; helps eliminate bad cholesterol; and benefits children who are sensitive to cold by keeping their body warm.
1. Sit in easy pose, cross-legged.
2. Turn the palms of your hands upwards. Bend the tips of your ring fingers so they touch the bases of your thumbs.
3. Softly bend the thumb over your ring fingers, keeping the other three fingers of both hands extended.
4. The hands can now rest on thighs or knees.
5. During practice, concentrate on the solar plexus.
