INVERTED TRIANGLE |
Parivrtha trikonasana
This pose improves the flexibility of your child’s back and spine, and reinforces their arms, legs, and lower back. The twisting motion massages the intestines and improves digestion.
1. Stand up, legs wide apart. Extend your arms shoulder height, palms facing down. Inhale deeply.
2. Exhale as you twist your torso and hips to the right.
3. Position your left hand on the outside of your right foot, or as close to it as you can. Your right arm is aligned with your left arm and extended toward the ceiling. If at all possible, try to make sure you’re looking at your left hand.
4. Come back to center and switch sides. Repeat three times, alternating sides.
