This pose tones and increases the flexibility of your child’s spine, hips, and thighs. It improves shoulder range, while stretching the torso and the abdominal organs.
1. Start in a kneeling position.
2. Push your hips forward and slightly arch your back.
3. Place your hands on your ankles.
4. Very progressively arch your back.
5. Hold the pose, counting to three and breathing deeply.
6. To get out of pose, push your body forward as you let go of your ankles one after the other.
7. Repeat three times.
