ONE-LEGGED KING PIGEON |
Ekapada raja kapotasana
This pose stretches the child’s thighs, abdomen, torso, and neck. It opens the hips as the legs are splayed. It also opens the thorax and improves lung capacity.
1. Start on all fours.
2. Bend the right leg to bring your right foot by your left thigh.
3. Slide the left foot back, extending your leg fully. Your right foot is half way between your left hand and thigh.
4. Bringing your hands closer to your body, find your balance so your back and face are upright. Hold the position while taking three normal breath cycles.
5. Switch sides.
