Bhujangasana
This pose strengthens your child’s spine and glutes. It also works the torso, lungs, shoulders, and abdomen.
1. Lie on your stomach and put your legs together.
2. Bring your hands to shoulder level, keeping your forehead on the floor.
3. and 4. While inhaling, raise your torso and look up to the sky.
5. and 6. While exhaling, come back to the initial position, forehead on the floor.
7. Repeat three times.
Your child can look straight ahead, arms slightly bent, or look up, arms extended. You can ask the younger ones to hiss like a cobra.
