SLEEPING VISHNU (SIDE-RECLINING LEG LIFT) |
Ananthasana
This pose improves leg flexibility and blood circulation. It is beneficial for your child, particularly for the heart and the digestive process.
1. Lie on your back and turn on your left side.
2. Bend your left arm so that you can rest your head on your left hand.
3. Bend the right leg and grab your right foot’s big toe.
4. While inhaling, extend your leg up. Breathe in and out three times.
5. Bring your foot back on the floor while exhaling.
6. Switch sides
This posture can be practiced against a wall for better balance. If your child has difficulty reaching their big toe, tell them to reach their ankle or calf.
