INVERTED LORD OF THE FISH (TORSION) |
Supta matsyendrasana
This pose stretches the back muscles and glutes of your child. It relaxes the hips and back joints, and also stretches and realigns the spine. The twist massages the intestines and improves the digestive process.
1. Lie on your back, arms extended perpendicularly to your body.
2. Legs extended, twist your hips to the left, bringing your right foot close to your left hand, so you can grab your big toe.
3. Slowly turn your head to the right. Breathe deeply for a few seconds.
4. Come back to your initial position and switch sides.
If the big toe is too difficult to reach, the knee can slightly be bent.
