BRIDGE

Setu bandha sarvangasana

This pose strengthens your child’s lower back muscles and improves their spine flexibility. It also opens the torso, improves blood flow to the brain, stretches the neck and back, and helps the digestive system by stimulating the abdominal organs, the lungs, and the thyroid.

1. Lie on your back with your legs bent and knees up.

2. Grab your ankles with your hands. Inhale while lifting your buttocks as high as possible to form a bridge. Curve your lower back, bringing your torso close to your chin.

3. Try to let go of your ankles, placing your hands flat on the floor, or joining them under your back. Try to hold the position for a few seconds, breathing normally.

4. As you exhale, come back to the original position.
