HALF-SUPPORTED HEADSTAND |
Ardha sirsasana
This pose tones thighs and heels. It promotes blood flow to the brain and eyes, contributing to the improvement of your child’s memory. It also works on balance.
1. Place yourself against a wall. Kneel close to the wall and lower your torso to put your weight on your forearms, keeping your hands together.
2. Place your head on the floor, securely wedged between your hands.
3. Lift your buttocks toward the ceiling, keeping your legs extended.
4. Walk your feet toward you, so your back is straight against the wall. Look in the direction of your feet. Hold the pose for a few seconds, breathing normally.
You can offer a cushion or a folded towel to support your child’s head.
