WHEEL |
Chakrasana
This pose improves the flexibility of your child’s back and spine, while strengthening the arms, legs, and lower back.
1. Lie down on your back. Bend your knees, keeping your feet on the floor. Bring your heels to your buttocks and your arms above your head. Place the palms of your hands above your shoulders, with your fingers pointing toward your feet, elbows up.
2. Using your hands and feet for support, bring your body up. If possible, your head is lifted off the floor.
Children usually like wheel. For the first few times, adults can help the child raise and lower their hips. For the youngest, the top of the head can stay in contact with the floor.
