How to Build a Basement Storage Wall

Mark the location of the base frame onto the floor. Measure out 24-1/4" from the back wall and make a mark at each end of the project area. Snap a chalk line between the marks. Note: When the cabinets are installed (step 12), they will overhang the front edges of the frames by 1/2" and be 1/2" from the back wall.
