Drill holes for the cabinet hinges. Use a Forstner bit and drill with a drill guide (or a drill press) to make the hinge-cup holes. Follow the hinge manufacturer’s specifications for hole sizes and placement. Tip: You can buy a kit that includes the cup-hole bit and a template for marking the hinge holes (inset photo).
