How to Install Pin-style Supports for Adjustable Shelves

Mount a drill and 1/4" bit in a right-angle drill guide, with the drill-stop set for 3/8" cutting depth. Align a pegboard scrap along the inside face of each shelf standard exactly flush with the end to use as a template. Drill two rows of parallel holes in each riser, about 1-1/2" from the edges of the riser using the pegboard holes as a guide.
