The genocide of the Yazidis of Northern Iraq by ISIS is a tragedy that has received far too little attention, and it is this theme that inspired THE DARKNET FILE, as well as the ongoing problems with terrorism in Europe. The Yazidis have suffered at the hands of many since day one. One can hope that as ISIS is pushed back, they will be able to recover as a people and reclaim their ancient legacy. The Sun Ladies, by the way, are real, and battle ISIS as we speak. These are indeed turbulent times we live in.
