Ally's Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Direction
- Set oven to preheat at 175°
C (350°
F). Add the rolled oats into the milk and soak for no less than ten minutes.
- Sift together the salt, baking soda and flour and put aside. Cream together the white sugar, brown sugar and margarine in a medium bowl. Mix in the vanilla and eggs. Add the sifted ingredients into the mixture and combine well. Then mix in the chocolate chips and oat mixture.
- On the prepared cookie sheets, drop heaping spoonfuls of dough. In the preheated oven, bake until golden brown, for 12 to 15 minutes. Transfer to cool on wire racks or let them cool down on baking sheets.
