Banana Split Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup mashed bananas
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Direction
- Cream butter and brown sugar together in a medium bowl. Beat into creamed mixture with mashed banana and eggs. Sift cloves, cinnamon, salt, baking soda, baking powder and flour together, then mix into the banana mixture. Stir in nuts and refrigerate, covered, for a minimum of an hour.
- Set the oven to 190°
C or 375°
F and coat cookie sheets lightly with grease. Drop dough on the prepped cookie sheets by rounded teaspoons.
- In the preheated oven, bake about 8-10 minutes, until no imprint leaves when touched. Allow to cool on wire racks.
