Cape Cod Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup melted shortening
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon molasses
Direction
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C (350 degrees F).
- In the big bowl, stir the salt, baking soda, cinnamon and flour together. Stir in the leftover ingredients.
- Drop by teaspoon 1.5-in. apart onto the ungreased sheets. Make small cookies. Bake till brown or for 12 minutes.
