Chocolate Chip Cookies From Kar

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Karo
® Light or Dark Corn Syrup
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons Spice Islands
® Pure Vanilla Extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
Direction
- Set oven to preheat at 350°
F.
- Use an electric mixer to beat butter and sugar in large bowl till fluffy. Beat corn syrup, egg and vanilla into the mixture. Slowly beat in the flour, baking soda and salt till incorporated.
- Stir chocolate chips into the mixture.
- Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of the dough onto baking sheets that are lightly greased.
- Bake until light brown or for 9 to 11 minutes. Let them cool down for 1 to 2 minutes on pan; take out of pan to wire rack.
