Cookie Mix In A Jar IV
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup chocolate covered raisins
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Direction
- Combine baking soda, baking powder and flour together.
- Layer ingredients in a quart size canning jar with wide mouth in given order. Press each layer in place firmly to ensure it is really packed down prior to putting in the flour mixture. It will be a tight fit mixture.
- Following directions attached to the jar: Chocolate Covered Raisin Cookies
- 1. Put into a big mixing bowl all contents of cookie mix and blend mix thoroughly with your hands.
- 2. Add in 1/2 cup of softened margarine or butter at room temperature. Avoid using diet margarine. Add in 1 tsp. of vanilla and 1 lightly beaten egg.
- 3. Mix the mixture until combined thoroughly. Use your hands to complete mixing process.
- 4. Form the mixture into balls with walnut size, then arrange on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced 2 inches between. Avoid using waxed paper.
- 5. Bake at 190°
C or 375°
F until tops are browned slightly, about 13-15 minutes. Allow to cool on baking sheet about 5 minutes. Transfer cookies to racks to complete cooling.
