Creme De Menthe Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons creme de menthe liqueur
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups mint chocolate chips
Direction
- Heat oven beforehand to 175°
C (350°
F).
- Cream the butter, white sugar and brown sugar together in large bowl until smooth. Beat the eggs into the mixture, then stir the crè
me de menthe liqueur into the mix. Mix together the salt, baking soda and flour; mix them into the mint mixture. Use a wooden spoon to mix in the chocolate chips by hand. Onto an ungreased cookie sheet, drop heaping teaspoonfuls of the dough. Cookies should be no less than 2 inches apart from each other.
- In the preheated oven, bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Let cookies cool down on the baking sheet for 5 minutes then take out to a wire rack to cool thoroughly.
