Double Chocolate Chip Macadamia Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped dry roasted macadamia nuts
Direction
- Set oven to preheat at 190°
C (375°
F). Sift together the salt, baking soda and flour; put aside.
- In a medium bowl, cream the white sugar, brown sugar and butter together till mixture is smooth. Beat the eggs into the mixture one by one, then mix in the vanilla. Blend in the sifted ingredients gradually. Mix in the macadamia nuts, white chocolate and semisweet chocolate chips. On ungreased cookie sheets, drop rounded tablespoonfuls of the dough.
- In the preheated oven, bake to a golden brown or for 8 to 10 minutes. Let cookies cool down for 5 minutes on baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack to cool thoroughly.
