Gooey Butter Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
Direction
- Set oven to 350°
F (175°
C).
- Beat the cream cheese with butter in a medium bowl. Mix in vanilla and egg. Put in cake mix and mix until well combined. Shape into 1-inch balls and toss the balls in the confectioners' sugar. Put one inch apart onto a cookie tray, ungreased.
- Bake in the prepared oven for 10 to 13 minutes. Take out from baking trays to cool on wire racks.
