Honey Wheat Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sifted whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup dry milk powder
- 1/2 cup wheat bran
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Direction
- Preheat an oven to 175°
C/350°
F.
- Mix peanut butter and butter till smooth in medium bowl; mix vanilla, egg and honey in. Mix baking soda, wheat bran, dry milk powder and whole wheat flour; mix into peanut butter mixture. By teaspoonfuls, drop on ungreased baking sheets.
- In preheated oven, bake for 8-10 minutes till edges start to brown. Transfer from baking sheet to wire racks; cool.
