Linda's Monster Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 2 cups white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces
Direction
- Set the oven to 175°
C or 350°
F to preheat. Coat cookie sheets with grease.
- Cream white sugar, brown sugar, butter and margarine together in a very big bowl until smooth. Beat in 1 egg at a time, then stir in vanilla. Mix together rolled oats, salt, baking powder, baking soda and flour, then stir into sugar mixture. Blend in candy-coated chocolate pieces and chocolate chips. Drop on prepared cookie sheets with tablespoonfuls of dough.
- In the preheated oven, bake for about 10-11 minutes, until edges turn golden. If you like chewy cookies, remove them prior to looking done.
