Mincemeat Cookies II
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 egg
- 2 cups prepared mincemeat pie filling
- 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
Direction
- Set the oven to 220°
C or 425°
F to preheat.
- Cream shortening and brown sugar together.
- Add in mincemeat and egg, mixing well. Sift together baking soda, salt and flour, then stir into the mincemeat mixture.
- Drop on cookie sheet and bake about 7 to 10 minutes.
