Monster Cookies IV
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon real maple syrup
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/3 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 4 ounces finely grated chocolate bar
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup chopped cashews
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Direction
- In a big bowl, add margarine. Cream the margarine using an electric mixer for a half minute. Cease and scrape bowl. Put in sugars and cream for about 2 minutes. Cease and scrape bowl. Put in maple syrup, vanilla and eggs then mix for about 2 minutes. Scrape bowl.
- Put in salt, baking powder, baking soda, graham cracker crumbs, whole wheat flour and all-purpose flour, then mix on low speed for about one minute. Put in oatmeal and mix on low until blended completely, about 1-1 1/2 minutes. Put in nuts and chocolate then mix on low speed just until combined, about half a minute.
- Drop onto baking sheets which have been greased by rounded teaspoonfuls. Bake for about 8-10 minutes, at 175°
C or 350°
F. Allow to cool thoroughly on wire racks.
