Oatmeal Cookies Light
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups reduced fat margarine
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 cups rolled oats
Direction
- Preheat oven to 190 degrees C (375 degrees F).
- In the big bowl, cream brown sugar, white sugar and margarine together till smooth. Beat in egg whites, one at a time, and then stir in vanilla. Mix baking soda and flour; stir to sugar mixture. Stir in rolled oats. Drop the dough by teaspoonfuls to the ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes. Let the cookies cool down on the baking sheet for 5 minutes prior to taking out onto the wire rack to cool down totally.
