Pecan Clouds
Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 cups pecan halves
Direction
- Set the oven to 120°
C or 250°
F to preheat. Grease a cookie sheet slightly.
- Beat egg whites in a big metal or glass mixing bowl until hold soft peaks. Put in sugar gradually and keep on beating until whites hold stiff peaks. Stir in pecans and vanilla. Drop onto prepped cookie sheet with mounded spoonfuls of dough.
- In the preheated oven, bake for an hour. Turn off oven and let cookies stay in the oven for a minimum of a half hour, until the centers of cookies become dry.
