Raisin Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 3/4 teaspoons baking soda
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup raisins
Direction
- Set the oven to 175°
C or 350°
F to preheat.
- Cream brown sugar and shortening together in a medium bowl, then put in eggs and mix well. Sift baking soda, cinnamon and flour together, then stir into the creamed mixture. Lastly, stir in raisins and milk.
- Drop on an unprepared cookie sheet with rounded spoonfuls of dough and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool.
