Rock Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 cups raisins
- 2 cups chopped black walnuts
- 2 cups dates, pitted and chopped
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 5 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
Direction
- Beat margarine or butter with the brown sugar. Add the eggs and blend well. Add the baking soda and flour. Add the walnuts, raisins and chopped dates into the dough.
- Use spoon to divide the dough to cookie trays. Set oven at 175°
C (350°
F) and bake for about 8 minutes.
