Toasty Macaroons
Ingredients
- 2 (3.5 ounce) packages flaked coconut, toasted
- 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon rum flavored extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 cup red and green candied cherries, halved
Direction
- Preheat an oven to 170°
C/325°
F.
- Mix ginger, rum extract, milk and coconut till blended well.
- By teaspoon, drop on foil-lined sheet; use 1/2 candied cherry to garnish each in the middle, placed upside down.
- Bake till firm for 15 minutes.
- Transfer from cookie sheets onto wire racks; fully cool then store.
