World's Best Cookie
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut
- 1 cup crushed cornflakes cereal
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Direction
- Set the oven to 170°
C or 325°
F to preheat.
- Cream the sugars and margarine or butter together.
- Stir in flour, baking soda, vanilla, oil and egg then mix until well-combined.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients. Drop onto cookie sheets and use sugar to sprinkle over prior to baking, if you want. Bake for about 12 to 15 minutes.
