SOURCE NOTES

Author’s Note: Some phone conversations with Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, and Denis Villeneuve were initially conducted in July 2021 by the author for the Den of Geek cover story “Visions of Dune,” published in October 2021. Some quotes derived from those interviews appear throughout this book in entirely different contexts, and many quotes from those interviews were not included in “Visions of Dune.” Thus, all of the quotes appear uniquely in this book, and some for the first time. Otherwise, all other interviews conducted for this book are completely unique to these pages.
