The Hike

The trail follows the paved Camp Glisson Road from the welcome center, around the gate, and farther into the private property of Camp Glisson. After hiking a short downhill, the trail veers off to the right and leads to an observation deck alongside the creek at the brink of the falls. From here, follow the decking back out onto the paved road.

Continue to follow the road farther into Camp Glisson and you soon come to Fred Glisson Circle on your right. Go right here, following Fred Glisson Circle steeply downhill. At the bottom of the hill a footpath on your right leads north a very short distance to the base of Cane Creek Falls.

Camp Glisson was founded by the Reverend Fred Glisson, who held the first youth camp here in the summer of 1925. Camp sessions are still held here, and public access is prohibited when camp is in session. For more information, use the contact information provided above.
