The Hike

Although the falls are visible from the road, to really appreciate them, take the very short walk from the parking area down to the base of Falls #2 on Waters Creek.

Many activities can be enjoyed within the Waters Creek Recreation Area. There’s a very small campground with only eight primitive campsites, but they are pristine sites right along the creek’s edge. The creek is considered one of Georgia’s trophy trout streams. However, be sure to check out the state fishing regulations before you break out your pole and your waders.

arrowState of Georgia fishing regulations can be found at the Georgia Department of Natural Resources website (www.gadnr.org) or by visiting www.georgiawildlife.com.
