Braunau am Inn, a small Austrian town close to the German border. The house on the right, Gasthof Josef Pommer, 15 Salzburger Vorstadt, is where Adolf Hitler was born at 6.30 on the evening of 20 April 1889. Apart from the introduction of modern traffic etc., the scene remains virtually unchanged.
