288. Hotel ‘Berchtesgadener Hof’ Berchtesgaden – Reception Hall.

On the reverse of this postcard someone has written; B’gaden on 15 Sept. 1942. The following day, 16 September 1942, the battle for Stalingrad began. Again fine oak-panelling covers the walls and ceiling. As we can see the spacious reception hall was very tastefully furnished.
