The following photographs (numbers 52 to 60) have been selected from a series of half sized postcard images by Hoffmann; each series came in a small card packet containing twenty photographs. Hitler’s immense popularity at this time dictated the production of these small, more personal images. It is reasonable to assume that such photographs depicting Hitler and other Nazi related subject matter were not only collected by individuals, but were given and received as gifts. Many of these same images are encountered in the usual postcard sizes.
