Picked up in the bazaar

And hanging on the wall

Is of chubby pink-faced

Children—so unlike our own,

Who’re neither as chubby,

Nor as pretty, nor wear

Such nice clothes.

These pictures sell a lot.

There’s always someone in every family

Who’ll feel as a father feels

And bring one home.

The truth is, though no one says it,

They’re all worried about their children.
