Tracing the Source of Hypertension

This example traced the source of the hypertension of one of my patient by understanding her lifestyle and relate to the time of meridian activated. It relates to the cause of hypertension traced to the following characteristics;

Young girl age 20, complain that her blood pressure suddenly raise up to 150mmHg. She could not understand why she is suffering from high blood pressure at such a young age. Her physician also could not tell her how did her high blood pressure comes about.

When I read her iris, confirm with her about her lifestyle and told her how her high blood pressure comes about, she accept my explanation.

• • Take note of the texture of the right iris fiber (box 1) which is not as clear as the texture at the left iris. This picture indicate that the right body is more imbalance.
• • Her pupil at the right iris (box 2) smaller than the pupil at the left iris (box 3) representing greater tension on the right body.

The above observation indicate that the right body is more acute than the left body. This condition would indicate disharmony of the right body.

• • The stomach (box 4) will also heat up causing flatulence due to the heat in the right body. She admit that she regularly felt it.

From the above observation, I enquire about her lifestyle.

• • She is a university undergraduate who has a habit of getting up between 1.30am to revise her school work. She would normally sleep at 3.00am.
• • She does not drink sufficient water.

Under Chinese medical knowledge, a person who does not sleep between this times would cause the liver to heat up. Heat moves up towards her chest, neck and head causing hyper tension.

The patient was advised to change her lifestyle and not to have too much late nights.
