From the images noted below and the various images that I had taken of those with heart disease, lacunae, and corneal opacity would be observed
As noted the thick cholesterol and sodium ring (Corneal Opacity) indicate that the circulatory system of the patient is not healthy. When asked, the patient indicate that he had undergone a corrective operation on the heart.
- • Take note of the marks on the iris which is the mark of an operation. (box ‘1’)
- • Also take note of the sodium ring around the iris indicating hardening of blood vessels.(box ‘2’)
- • Blood supplies to the brain area (box ‘3’) is also compromised as illustrated with frontal opacity
