Jesus said, “I shall give you what no eye has seen and what no ear has heard and what no hand has touched and what has never occurred to the human mind.”
The preacher has said, “There is nothing new under the sun.” Therefore, either this secret is hidden right here and now or it is something “beyond the sun” that the Lord has brought down. In truth, it is both hidden here in every particle of matter and beyond the sun. Did you know that your body is literally made of stardust?
There is a Supernal Light-force of which the stars and matter in their inmost essence are the physical reflection and material expression. The Light we behold in the perfect Master is a spiritual nuclear force having the power to transform everything it touches, but the true meaning of this escapes mental concepts and human imagination, for, by its very nature, the supernal consciousness-force is supramental, that is to say, wholly beyond the mind or mental being and its concepts. It has never occurred to the human mind and can never occur to a mental being. It is only revealed in the experience of the supramental state or supernal consciousness; hence, it is only known to itself in full. Among the Gnostics, it has been called the “Perfect Thunder Mind,” although it is No-Mind. Such is the nature of Messianic consciousness.
How shall I speak conceptually of what transcends all concepts? If I were able to speak about it, but you did not even know the clear radiant nature of the ordinary mind, how would you understand and believe me if I spoke to you of this heavenly mind that is No-Mind, that is pure primordial awareness?
If I say to you that there is no thought in it at all, it will seem as if it were the mind of an alien God, or perhaps be confused with a state of dull stupidity that lacks intelligence. In fact, this Gnosis mind beyond mind has no need for thought. It is a consciousness of pure awareness that operates from a silent will. It brings forth everything from within itself and knows everything directly within itself, being a non-dual, gnostic awareness. There is no duality in it whatsoever, so that the individual and the universal exist in perfect unity with the transcendental. Yet, neither the individual nor universal is in any way lost; all exists as it is in Sacred Unity. Rather than the drop of saltwater poured back into the ocean, it is as though the ocean pours through the drop of saltwater, so that the individual and universal are perfectly self-aware as one self that is completely selfless. Such perfect peace and divine joy is this Christ-consciousness. No words can describe it nor human mind conceive it. It is completely beyond mental being, although mental being is a manifestation of this one supernal consciousness-force, and every gradation of consciousness-being is an expression and operation of this one consciousness-being, the Holy One of Being, who human beings call enlightenment or God. The perfect Master reveals our Divine destiny. It is the intention of God that we become more than human. The very nature of the great work is to strive and labor to become more than human—to become Christ-like or God-like.
In order to consciously labor to evolve toward the image of the Lord, that Divine image must be revealed to us. You cannot direct the creative power that is in you to act with God as a conscious co-creator of your Divine destiny unless the image of your potential and future self is revealed to you. You cannot be and become what is not seeded in your creative imagination. This must be a Divine vision, a direct experience, so that, to some degree, you have a noble ideal by which to shape yourself. You must receive initiation, and receiving initiation, you must then strive to shape yourself according to that Truth and Light revealed in your experience.
Here is a secret: your “future self,” the Christ-self, is your present and real self! The Lord has shown you your own inner or higher self, and, truly, the Lord is that self which is No-Self. Not only are you to become Christ-like; you are to become Christ, the only-begotten Spiritual Sun of God. It is the nature of the Messiah, the inmost Spirit of the Messiah, that Lord Yeshua reveals, and it is this Supernal Light that passes through the apostolic succession into this present generation.
This manifestation of the Holy Spirit that moves through the succession of apostles was not manifest in the succession of the prophets. Only the holy Shekinah below rested upon the prophets, but in Yeshua Messiah, the holy Shekinah above and below rested upon him and worked within and through him to reveal and transmit herself. Through the mystery drama we know Mother Mary as the personification of the upper Shekinah, and St. Mary Magdalene, the consort of the Master, as the personification of the Shekinah below. Both Mother-Sister and Daughter-Sister Wisdom lived and moved in union with the Son-Brother Logos, revealing the Divine fullness of the heavenly Father-Mother, and the One-Without-End.
What is the meaning of this saying? The Lord has a secret and has told you that he has a secret so that you might seek to know the secret. After all, if you did not know there was a secret or mystery, how would you seek it, let alone find it?
