Verse 41

Jesus said, “Whoever has something in his hand will receive more, and whoever has nothing will be deprived of even the little he has.”

Listen and hear! For you are called to enter into the holy sanctuary of the mystery, to be counted among the chosen ones to receive the baptism of water and fire and Spirit, and to take up your place in the mystical body of the Messiah. You are called, but you must listen and hear the call of the Holy Spirit in you and answer the call, so that you might also be chosen. I tell you, those who choose the Lord are chosen by the Lord, that they should be unto the Lord a holy people and living temples of the holy Shekinah of the Lord.

Look and see! There is a great wealth that has come to dwell in this poverty. The soul within you is a priceless pearl formed in the womb of the Creator and destined to shine with the Light and Glory of the Living God, becoming like unto God. So like unto God is the soul destined to be and become, that, in union with God through the Spirit of the Messiah, there shall be no distance, nor any difference between the godly soul and God Itself. The godly soul shall be the holy name of the Lord God, the Spirit of God and the Divine powers of the Godhead indwelling it. So it is written, “On that holy day, he and his holy name shall be One.”

How shall I come to the Lord? If I am a son or daughter of the heavenly Father-Mother and heir to the throne of celestial Jerusalem and all the treasuries of the kingdom of heaven, as the perfect Master has said, should I come unto the Lord in my delusion of poverty as though a beggar? Or should I come before the Lord in Spirit and Truth as a noble son or daughter, entering with the noble bearing and confidence of a child of Light? Indeed! To enter in poverty as a beggar is false and untrue, a seeking of Divine Gnosis through ignorance! But such ignorance shall never attain true Gnosis. Only the gnostic being of the Godly soul, the Neshamah, shall attain true Gnosis, for only the child and heir inherits what belongs to the Divine parent, for the child is of that holy kingdom and the Spirit of the Divine parent is in that child. He or she has been born in the image of the Holy One of Being who is the heir’s Creator.

Yes, you are a child of Light and you are blessed and ordained as a holy priest-king of the Supernal Light in the world, an heir, with the Soul of the Messiah, to the kingdom of God. It is in this way that you must come to the Lord, with the wealth of your noble being and royalty, not according to the delusion of lack and poverty, as though you were a beggar. It is unseemly and inappropriate that a holy prince or princess should enter into the presence of the Lord like a beggar. The heir must enter into the court of the Holy One as a child of the Living God, one who is chosen and anointed as a holy priest-king. Be not an outsider to the heavenly court, nor to the assembly of the elect on earth. Be an insider. Know the wealth that is within you and bring it forth so that you might have an offering for the Lord our God and so draw near unto the Holy One.

I tell you, the guardians of the Palace of Lights will not let a beggar in to see the Holy Queen, nor will they bring a beggar into the feast of the priest-king, let alone allow a beggar to enter into the bridal chamber! Only the sons and daughters of the Holy One can know the beloved bride of the Holy One as their constant companion and partake of the wedding feast and have a place in the bridal chamber. A stranger has no place in the inmost chambers of the Palace of Lights!

You are richly blessed. There is a wealth in you. The Lord has showered blessings upon you. Your faculties, your talents and gifts, the resources you possess, and the life that is in you, all of these are the blessings of the Lord upon you. All that you have and all that you are comes from the Lord so that you might have an offering through which to draw near unto the Lord. You are created in the image of the Lord so that you might unite with the Holy One and dwell in the Holy One and the Spirit of the Holy One might dwell in you.

Your faculties, your talents and gifts, the resources of your life, and your very life itself, are the holy offering you are to bring with you when you come to be received by your holy tzaddik and seek to receive teachings and initiations into the mysteries of God. They are the offering you are to place upon the altar of the Lord. Only in giving of yourself are you received and so receive in full the spiritual flow of the Divine powers and Grace upon Grace. You must come with something in your hand in order to receive more.

Surely, a beggar shall not pass the holy guardians of the Palace of Lights. Only one bearing the holy seal shall enter. If a beggar cannot enter but is prevented, what would happen to the thief who enters? Indeed! Whatever the thief had when entering would certainly be taken—his freedom, or perhaps even his life!

Although at the outset you might seek to enter into the holy covenant and continuum of the Light-transmission seeking to receive for yourself alone, ignorant of the wealth you bring with you, you cannot allow yourself to remain in this ignorance. You must cultivate the holy desire to receive so that you might impart. We are not called into the assembly of the elect only to receive for ourselves alone, but to act as a conscious agent of the great work. We are not chosen as a member of the mystical body of the Messiah only to labor for the enlightenment and liberation of our own soul, but to participate in the divine labor of the redemption of all living souls. You are given a wealth to bring into the great work, and you are that wealth.

Now there is a secret spoken here, for in cultivating your God-given faculties, talent, and gifts, using your resources and life in the way of the righteousness of one’s godly soul, remembering and practicing the righteousness of your godly soul, your spirit, Ruach, and your heavenly soul, Neshamah, are naturally and spontaneously added unto you. New spiritual faculties, talents, and gifts are given to you, the Divine powers awaken in you, and so you are reborn of the Holy Spirit, fashioned through Grace in the image of the Lord. Cultivating what you have and what you are, you will naturally grow and evolve. Yet not cultivating yourself in this way, you cannot grow, the Divine potential remaining only potential, the holy tree only a spark as yet trapped in the shells.

There is another level of this secret spoken here, for it is said that the rider of the Merkavah can only speak of the mysteries of the holy Merkavah and chambers of the Palace of Lights to one who knows already. Indeed, only to one who has attained a glimpse or taste or something of the actual spiritual experience, can the inmost mysteries be spoken. Only an insider of the experience will understand what is said and have a share in the mystical experience. Without spiritual study and contemplation, mystical prayer and meditation, coupled with spiritual living, the conditions necessary to receive the inmost teachings are not present.

Remember, you are a child of Light! Practicing the Way, Truth, and Light, so shall you be greatly blessed, for, in truth, your very soul is the blessing you shall receive when you give yourself to the Lord in this way. The Way is the experience of the Light-transmission itself. Practicing it, you bring forth the Holy Light from within yourself and so receive and share the Light.
