There are perhaps thousands of sea creatures that remain undiscovered by we humans, lying deep, deep down in trenches beneath the waves. Creatures like this one below:
I caught that while fishing off a boat in the North Sea, using a 50-pound line and a reel the size of a beer barrel. Imagine my shock when I hauled it on board! As it plopped on to the deck, it groaned a terrible groan that sounded like,
'IFYOUTHINKI'MWEIRDWAITTILLYOUSEEMYDAD.'
Then it tried to eat the side of the boat.
The Society for the Identification of Weird New Fishes and Undersea Critters credited me with the creature's discovery and it's currently stuffed in a cabinet at the Museum of Curiosities. They said I could name it after myself, but who wants something like that named after them? So I called it Sandra, since it bears more than a passing resemblance. (I HAVEN'T TOLD HER YET.)
