Franklin Mortgage & Investment Co. is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The name pays tribute to the art and craftsmanship bartenders brought to the bar in the United States pre-Prohibition era. The name is borrowed from the late 1920s company that ran the biggest underground alcohol ring, even bigger than Al Capone’s. They draw from their historical mentors, such as Jerry “The Professor” Thomas, Ada Coleman, and Harry Johnson.
