Epilogue

Sasha zipped up the back of her favorite red dress and turned in front of the mirror.

“You look amazing, Sash,” Bonnie said as she came to stand behind her. “Any idea what’s going on?”

“Not a clue. Hannah hasn’t given away anything and neither has Casey. He used to always be good for a hint or two. But he just smiles and shrugs.” She finger combed her hair and reapplied her lipstick. She’d spent the afternoon at Bonnie’s at Hannah’s request. All she’d said was go to Bonnie’s and get ready. And be sure to put on that little red dress.

“So mysterious. How romantic.”

“I know.” Sasha sighed and faced Bonnie. “You wouldn’t believe how romantic she is. She’s spoiling me rotten.”

“And now this,” Bonnie said. “I’m dying to know what she’s up to.”

“I told her I don’t need anything fancy. I just want her love.”

Bonnie hugged her. “I’m so happy for you. God, I’m going to miss you.”

“I’m going to miss you too.” The day before had been hectic as she and Hannah moved her things back to the house. Her muscles still ached from carrying boxes. Not to mention what they’d done to celebrate later that evening. Sasha had spent the first night back in their room, sleeping soundly in their bed, in Hannah’s arms. She almost pinched herself when she’d awakened that morning.

The doorbell rang, and Bonnie jumped up and down with excitement. “Oh my God, she’s here.”

Sasha smiled. “Thanks so much for supporting me in this, Bons. It means so much.”

“After all you’ve told me she’s done these past months, I definitely think you’re making the right move.”

They embraced again and Bonnie teared up.

“Don’t cry or I’ll start.”

“Sorry.” She laughed and wiped her tears. “Go, go.” She pushed her toward the stairs. Sasha headed down and took a deep breath and closed her eyes before opening the door.

“Hi.”

Sasha opened her eyes. Her heart fluttered and her hand went to her heart. Hannah was standing there in a dark pantsuit, holding a dark pink rose.

“Hi.”

Hannah handed her the rose and then bowed and swept her arm to the side to show the black stretch limo waiting at the curb.

“Oh my God. Hannah. What is all this?”

Hannah took her hand and led her to the car. The driver opened the door and they both crawled inside. He closed the door after them.

“This is all for you,” Hannah said. She leaned in and kissed her delicately on her cheek. Sasha could smell her familiar cologne, the one she’d worn for years, the one that drove her crazy with desire. She crossed her legs as her center tingled.

“I told you, I don’t need all this.” But truthfully, she was excited and completely overwhelmed.

“I know, but this is what I need. I need to do this for you. For us.”

“Just what exactly is all this? Where are you taking me?”

“Someplace you’ll never forget.”

“What about Casey? Is he okay?”

Hannah grabbed a bottle of champagne and poured her a glass. “He’s going to be fine. Mickey is going to stay with him.”

“Stay? How long are we going to be gone?” She took the glass and stared at Hannah in awe.

“A week.”

“A week?” She laughed. “I don’t know what to say. This is unbelievable.”

“Mickey owes me big time, and Casey fully supports this whole thing. He even helped me plan it.”

“He did, did he?” It had been like old times again in their home. Warm, loving, cozy. Exchanging inside jokes and witty banter. Watching movies together. Eating dinner at the table. She’d never been more content.

“Uh-huh.” Hannah leaned in again and tilted her chin. “Have I mentioned how incredible you look?”

“Not yet.” Sasha smiled playfully.

“How about I just show you then?” She kissed her.

Sasha’s head spun at how light and gentle and soft it was. As if she were a delicate flower.

Hannah took the glass and set it aside.

“I didn’t even take a sip,” Sasha said, not minding at all.

“Later,” Hannah whispered. She kissed her again. Warm, soft, seeking. Her hand moved up her leg and her mouth found Sasha’s neck. Sasha moaned and uncrossed her legs. She was beginning to throb, and as Hannah’s hand moved closer to her center, she felt desire begin to soak her panties.

“Oh, Hannah,” she groaned. “What about the driver?”

“We have a while until we arrive at the airport.” She nibbled her ear. “So just relax and feel me.”

“What about my clothes? Hannah, I didn’t pack a bag.”

“I packed two for you. They’re in the trunk.” Hannah pushed closer and stroked her inner thigh with her fingertips.

Sasha couldn’t help but struggle for breath. She gripped Hannah’s blazer and opened her legs farther.

“Where are you taking me, Ms. Carter?”

Hannah finally found her and she pressed into her aching flesh through her panties. Sasha made a noise and bit her lower lip. She stared into Hannah’s eyes.

“It’s a surprise.”

“Tell me.”

Hannah played her with her fingers.

“I’ll give you a hint. There’s a beach.”

Sasha panted. “A beach? Mm. Where?” Her hips bucked. “Tell me.”

“That’s all the information you’re getting from me.” She slipped her hand into her panties, and Sasha threw her head back and groaned. She tightened her grip on Hannah’s blazer as her hips continued to move.

“Oh Jesus, Hannah. What are you doing to me? It’s madness.”

“I love you, Sasha.” She kissed her jawline and teased her ear. “And I can’t wait to see you running toward the ocean in that dress. I know it’s a moment I’ll never forget.” She quickened her hand, stroking her hungry flesh.

Sasha looked at her. Tugged her in farther. “Oh God, I love you too, Hannah. Make me come, baby. Make me come in your hand.”

They kissed. Mouths fusing wildly. Hannah kept stroking her, framing her flesh with her fingers. Squeezing and stroking.

“Come for me, Sash. Come.”

Sasha clenched her eyes and moved her body as quickly as she could. Fucking Hannah’s hand. “I’m coming for you, baby. Oh God, here I come.” She threw her head back and groaned long, slow, and loud.

“That’s it, Sash. Oh God, I love it when you come.”

Sasha’s voice faltered and her body moved uncontrollably. She rode the orgasm like a wild woman, demanding every last bit. Hannah kissed her neck, kissed her jaw, and encouraged her to fuck until she could take no more. When she stilled she fell against her chest and struggled for air. Hannah held her in her arms in silence. Eventually, she spoke.

“Do I have you now, Sasha? Will you stay with me forever?”

Sasha stared into her. “Yes, Hannah. I will. Just promise me this isn’t the last seduction.” She smiled to let her know she was teasing. Hannah tugged her close as if she’d never let her go.

“Oh no, baby. This is only the first. The first of many.”

Sasha laughed. “I’m only kidding, Hannah. You know I don’t need all this.”

“I will never stop trying to seduce you, Sash.”

“Then just give me you.”

“I will, hon. I’ll give you me and so much more.”

Sasha snuggled into her and closed her eyes.

She smiled and wiped a stray tear.

She had her woman.

She really, truly had her.

And most important of all, they had forever.
