The commercial Intel performance suite comprises of VTune Amplifier, Intel Advisor, and Intel Inspector. VTune Amplifier is an advanced sampling profiler using hardware and OS counters, providing information on CPU, threading, memory, cache, and storage. Intel Inspector is a memory and threading debugger, which can detect races, deadlocks, and memory leaks. Intel Advisor is a prototyping tool that can estimate how your design will perform on real hardware pertaining to threading and vectorization, and propose-necessary adjustments.
